About The Prophet Muhammad

                                               .Assalamualaikum ♥

The name muhammad means "Praiseworthy" and occurs four times in the Quran. The Quran addresses Muhammad in the second person not by his name but by the appellation prophet messenger, servant of God ('abd), announcer (bashir), witness (shahid), bearer of good tidings (mubashshir), warner (nathir), reminder (mudhakkir), one who calls [unto God] (DA’I), light personified (noor), and the light-giving lamp (siraj munir). Muhammad is sometimes addressed by designations deriving from his state at the time of the address: thus he is referred to as the enwrapped (al-muzzamil) in Quran 73:1 and the shrouded (al-muddaththir) in Quran 74:1. In the Quran, believers are not to distinguish between the messengers of God and are to believe in all of them (Sura al-baqara 2:285). God has caused some messengers to excel above others 2:253 and in Sura Al-Ahzab 33:40 He singles out Muhammad as the “seal of the prophets”. The Quran also refers to Muhammad as Ahmad "more praiseworthy"

The authors sirah (biography) of Muhammad generally agree that he was born in the Year of the Elephant, which is the year 570 AD, which is the year of the collapse of Abraha attacked Makkah. Muhammad was born in Mecca, in the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula, a place when it is the most backward regions in the world, far from the centers of trade, art, and science. His father, Abdullah, died in the course of trade in the medina, which was then called Yathrib, when Muhammad was still in the womb. He left the property five camels, a flock of sheep and a slave woman named Um Ayman who then take care of the Prophet.

By the time Muhammad was six years old, his mother Aminah bint Wahab took him to Yathrib (now Medina) to visit family and visit the grave of his father. But on the way home, her mother fell ill. After a few days, Aminah died in Abwa 'which is located not far from Yathrib, and was buried there. After his mother died, Muhammad was guarded by his grandfather,' Abd al-Muttalib. After his grandfather died, he was guarded by his uncle, Abu Talib. When he is asked to herding goats around Mecca and often accompanied his uncle on trade matters to the land of Sham (Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine).

Almost all the hadith experts and historians agree that Muhammad was born in the month of Rabi, although they differed on the date. Among the Shi'a, in accordance with the direction of the priest, who is a direct descendant of Muhammad, believed that he was born on Friday, 17 Rabi, while Sunnis believe that he was born on Monday, 12 Rabi (2 August 570 AD).
